After months of renovation and careful planning, we are pleased to open the doors to Café Teske in early June, 2016.
The old rooms and the old courtyard are preserved but we have created even more history with the furniture. In addition we have set up a restaurant kitchen and installed a wheelchair-accessible toilet.
Everything in the café is available for sale (except Café-mutter and the rest of the staff), so there are plenty of opportunities to make a great deal if you fall in love with a lamp, a couple of chairs or a picture on the wall.
The food is primarily in the genre of “granny-food” (e.g. herring sandwiches, old fashioned apple pie and plunger coffee). There will also be an opportunity to enjoy a warm latte or a delicious Teske-burger. Obviously on hot summer days, there will be loads of possibilities to enjoy cold beer in the cozy courtyard.
We look forward to seeing you.
