Farvergården

Farvergården in Ebeltoft is part of Museum Østjylland and the only preserved dye works in Northern Europe. The structure was built between 1700 and 1850 and functioned as a dye works until 1925.

Farvergården consists of an intact dye works, the dyer’s home and farm buildings and everything is as it was when the dye works was still operational. Entrance is free and the dye works is open all summer where many different activities also take place. Farvergården has a wonderful garden and there is ample opportunity to enjoy your packed lunch in the garden or the courtyard. 

There is also a museum shop in connection with the museum’s reception.
