Kommandørgården

Kommandørgården is an intact whaler’s home. Here, you can see what life was like in the 1700s when you move around the kitchen, basement, living rooms etc. 

The barn is from 1749 and inside you can see the skeleton of a sperm whale. The museum also exhibits clothing and textiles from Rømø.

In the museum café you can buy lunch and lovely cakes while souvenirs are sold at the box office.
