Nysø
Nysø is a gravel pit lake in Varde Søndre Plantation. The lake is located approx. 5 km south of Varde. The water is clean, and bathing is allowed. However, you should keep in mind that gravel pit lakes can be dangerous as the water can suddenly get very deep and the water is cold.
Dogs are not allowed in the lake but southeast of Nysø you’ll find a small lake where dogs are allowed to go for a swim.
