Ballum Meadows
Ballum Meadows by the Wadden Sea are rich in birdlife. Here, you can observe swans, geese, lapwings and much more. In late summer you might be lucky enough to witness the phenomenon “Black Sun”. It is called “Black Sun” because the sky can literally be black with starlings.
The area also has several hiking and cycling paths where you can experience nature up close.
