Britta’s Ceramics

You will find Britta’s Ceramics in Odby in Thyholm. I started my small workshop in 1981 in our old barn, where I also have my exhibition.

I produce for both everyday use and unique specimens.

I am still fascinated of what the clay can and will. I find great joy in the work at the potter's wheel and observe how the clay takes shape as mugs, jugs, bowls and other things you can use in your household but I also enjoy "playing" with the clay and invent new different forms which are more for ornamental purposes than actually being beneficial.

My inspiration has its roots mainly in nature's shapes and colors. Everywhere I go, ceramics are on my mind, and my eyes search for things that can be included in the production of new vases, bowls and sculptural items.

I have no fixed opening hour, but do come inside whenever the gate is open or call and arrange a visit.
