Christiansborg Palace

Christiansborg Palace is divided in two. One part is home to the Danish Parliament, the Supreme Court and the Ministry of State while the other is used for royal gala dinners and also functions as a museum.

The royal Christiansborg Palace
In one part of Christiansborg Palace you’ll find the great hall (Riddersalen), where the Queen hosts gala dinners in connection with state visits etc. You can also see the Queen´s Throne Room where she greets other royals, presidents, ambassadors and other dignitaries. And you shouldn’t miss out on a visit to the Royal Stables (De Kongelige Stalde) and Christiansborg Palace Chapel (Christiansborg Slotskirke). Last but not least you can visit the exciting ruins beneath the castle.

Parliament’s wing
The other part of Christiansborg Palace is home to the Danish Parliament. It is possible to go on a tour and see the workplace of many of the Danish politicians.
