DCU-Camping Ålbæk Strand

With cosy Skagen and the rest of picturesque North Jutland right around the corner, DCU-Camping Ålbæk Strand is the basis for a great camping holiday. 
The campsite is located right next to a lovely beach with fresh seawater but on the campsite itself you’ll also find a 200 m2 large lake.

Facilities
The campsite offers a 200 m2 large lake free of chlorine and other chemicals. The lake is divided into a children’s section, a low water section and a deep-water section. The campsite also has a sauna, an outdoor tub, jumping pillows, playing field, moon cars, petanque, mini golf, table tennis and table football, good bathing facilities and a large common room. Furthermore, the campsite offers many activities such as bonfires, twist bread on the beach every Thursday, BBQ nights and treasure hunts for the children.

Excursions
The campsite has an optimal location for holiday experiences in the North of Jutland. Here you can experience Skagen city, Grenen, Råbjerg Sand Dune, The Sand-covered Church, The Eagle Reservation, Hvideklit golf course and Løkken. 
Right outside the door you’ll find marked hiking trails. There are also bike trails going south as well as north. Ålbæk is only a short distance away and offers several good restaurants, lovely stores and good shopping. On the harbour you can watch the fishermen land their catch in the morning or you can try your own hand at fishing from the pier. Within walking distance you’ll also find Farm Fun which is an animal park and playcentre for the entire family.

Spending the night
The campsite has approx. 300 spots and a nice area for tents. If you do not have your own camper, it is possible to rent one of the campsite’s 5 huts.
