Det Gamle Røgeri

Situated at Nørretorv in the heart of Thisted, you will find Det Gamle Røgeri (The Old Smokehouse). Based on the old craftsman traditions it offers a wide selection of fresh and smoked fish - both in the counter and in the restaurant.
Here you will find both smoked foods, shrimps, herring, frozen specialties and freshly caught fish every day! You can find fish for all occasions and be inspired to make delicious dishes for the BBQ.

The restaurant

You are also warmly welcome in Det Gamle Røgeri’s restaurant - with its charming and inviting settings it is a wonderful dining experience all day long. The menu is varied and exciting. Naturally, the main emphasis is on our own products, and the restaurant's popular “stjerneskud” comes highly recommended. It attracts guests from near and far and is available in sizes big and even bigger.

The restaurant has an idyllic outdoor area where you can enjoy your dinner - weather permitting.

Take-away 

Det Gamle Røgeri also offers take-away. Again, the menu is varied and ranges from fish dishes and fish tapas to old-fashioned open sandwiches. We will also gladly personalize a solution that meets your wishes.
