Egeskov Mill

Close to Egeskov Castle you’ll find this Dutch mill from 1855. The mill is also known as Tikronemøllen (The 10 Kroner Mill) as the illustrator Ib Andersen used it as a motif on the 10 kroner bill in 1952. 

It is possible to get a guided tour of the mill, see it operate on windy days and enjoy the view from the top.

The finely grinded flour, which is also sold in local stores and used by selected bakers, can be purchased at the gate when the mill is open.
