The story of Helm begins more than 200 years ago in the year 1812, where Peter Helm's great-great-grandfather Henrik Helm started a tannary in Nørregade in Holstebro. Today, the shops and the webshop are run by Peter Helm and his sons Martin and Henrik. In 1873 the tannary was transformed into a leather goods shop and has since then sold leather goods from Helm in Jutland.
