Experience a unique exhibition of fantastic iceskultures, which is brought to life by the interplay between the ice, and the clear light.

Inside Iskunsten in Thyborøn you'll experience a world of ice, where the only limit is you own fantasy. The permanent exhibition is found near Thyborøn harbor, and is the only one of its kind in Europe. The 450 Squaremeter large cold-room contains a bounty of different icesculptures in all sizes and shapes, and they're exchanged periodically, so there's always new wonders to see. Since the cold-room is held at low temperatures, it is very impotant to keep warm while you visit. That is why Iskunsten offers blanket for people to borrow, which you can use to experience the sculptures without freezing.

In addition to the sculptures themselves, you'll also be able to see exhibit about the history of ice-production, and how people got access to ice before modern times. You can also visit the ice-workshop, where you'll be able to make your own icesculptures and bring your fantasies to life.

Iskunsten is open all days, exept when they're changing out the exhibits. Be sure to check which days they open.
