The museum of the Cold War Stevnsfort
Visit the museum of the Cold War Stevnsfort and get to know the history of how Stevnsfort under the Cold War was in the frontline of the defence for Denmark and NATO. The fort is still in the same shape as it was when it was closed in 2000. One can participate in a guided tour of the fort. The fort consists of 1,7km long corridors 18 metres under the ground. The tour takes 1,5 hours and it is important to notice, that the temperature in the fort all year round is around 10 degrees. All tours have to be guided.
