Lindholm Høje Museum

The burial site at Lindholm Høje is one of Denmarks finest reminders of the Iron Age and the time of the Vikings. Several hundred stones mark the graves. From the top of the hill, there is a fantastic view over the Limfjord, which was of big importance in the past. The museum has an exhibition about the life of the Vikings at Lindholm Høje as well as an exhibition about the prehistoric ages in the area of Lomfjorden.

The shop in the museum sells merchandise related to the prehistoric times. Among others, there are rags, knitted goods and furs as well as jewellery from the Viking times and amber. Furthermore, there is a wide range of books for young and old and goods, that were produced with the help of traditional crafts. Viking souvenirs are popular and will remind you of your good experience to Lindholm Høje. There is also a café where you can eat and drink something.

Dogs are very welcome in the outdoor area but are not allowed inside the museum.
