Sønderborg Castle

Sønderborg Castle was built in the first half of the 13. century and is also the castle, where Christian II was kept imprisoned during the years 1532-49. Today, the castle is a museum telling the history of Southern Denmark/Schleswig from the Middle Ages until today. Occasionally, concerts, lectures and special exhibitions are held here.
