Schackenborg Castle
Experience the castle by participating in one of the guided tours through the inside of the castle and the beautiful palace gardens.
11 generations of descendants of the great warrior Hand Schack lived here and in 1978 the castle was acquired by the Danish royal dynasty.
Schackenborg Fonden is a supplier of flour and semolina, which is harvested from Schackenborgs own land and is among others used for the production of the Castle Bread (Slotsbrødet) made by De 5 Gaarde.
Irregularly, concerts and lectures are held in Schackenborg Castle, so that it is a good idea to look at the calendar from time to time.
