Experience the animals up-close
Playful monkeys, dangerous carnivores, exotic birds and cute baby animals. In the park, you can come very close to the Altai lynx, the jaguar, the banded mongoose and the park's more than 100 other fascinating species. Most of the animals in the park can also be fed with special food, which can be bought for 20 DKK at the kiosk, and at the playground children can pet goats and other cute animals.

Guided tour with zookeepers and pony rides
On weekends, holidays and bank holidays, it is possible to ride on ponies and go on a guided tour with Skærup Zoo's zookeepers. It is a very special experience to be guided around by someone who spends lots of time with the animals and knows them really well. On the tour, you will learn a lot about the fascinating animals. You will see them being fed and are able to ask all the questions you want.

In addition to being a cosy excursion spot, the park also wants to contribute to the conservation of endangered species. In other words, the park is much more than merely a collection of animals, and they do a great job in promoting knowledge about nature and the animals of the park.
