Thisted Museum

Thisted Museum is located in coffee merchant N.L. Spangberg’s old villa, near the largest square in town. The museum displays various archaeological exhibitions, a peasant setting, the living room of a wealthy grocer and a historical town exhibition with a large town model showing Thisted in 1850.  You can also visit the memorial rooms for Thisted’s two most famous inhabitants: teacher Christen Kold and poet and scientist J.P. Jacobsen. Thisted museum also displays temporary exhibitions.
