Odsherred Geopark

Odsherred Geopark is Denmark’s first UNESCO Global Geopark. A geopark is an area with a distinctive geology and can be compared a little to a national park. 

Odsherred Geopark offers a unique ice age landscape. In the park, you’ll find 160 km of varied coastline, rolling hills, green moors, lakes and much more. If you visit Odsherred Geopark you are sure to get an extraordinary nature experience.

But Odsherred Geopark is famous for more than its beautiful landscapes. It is very popular with artists and has a long tradition for landscape paintings. It is also known for its fantastic produce and you’ll find delicious vegetables, mushrooms, meat and much more here. Furthermore, the area is very rich in cultural history.
