Hvide Sande South Beach

By the tourist town Hvide Sande you’ll find Hvide Sande South Beach – the ideal beach for the entire family. What’s so fantastic about this particular beach is the combination between the wide white sand beach and the roaring North Sea – all shielded by picturesque dunes. The beach was elected “Denmark’s best Bathing Beach” in 2010.

Hvide Sande South Beach is perfect for activities for the entire family. Here, you can take long walks, play in the sand or go for a swim. However, you should keep the undercurrent and waves in mind. Due to these conditions the beach is maned by lifeguards during the summer months – more specifically from June 21st until August 17th.

Another popular activity at Hvide Sande South Beach is kite flying. The surroundings and the windy weather here are perfect for this activity. It is also possible to look for amber on the beach. The best time to do this is right after a storm.

After a fun day at the beach, you can enjoy an ice cream at one of the nearby ice cream parlours or a meal at one of the many restaurants in town.
