Jette's Ostrich farm

At Jette Strudsefarm you can experience the world's largest bird from a very short distance. Denmark's largest ostrich farm is a stone's throw away from the west coast of Jutland in a scenic area of 300,000 m². Besides ostriches you can also experience water buffalos, emus from Australia and nandus from South America at the farm.

You can come within a striking distance of the animals on a guided tour in an open-air bus, where the staff of the farm can tell you all about the exciting animals. We offer both guided tours in Danish and German. In the stable you can see how the eggs are hatched and the chickens are bred.

Do not forget to visit the farm shop where you will find ostrich meat, feathers and food as well as other local specialties. On the terrace you can enjoy a glass of wine, coffee and cake, sandwich or ice cream with a view of Stadil Fjord.
