KUNSTEN - Museum of Modern Art

KUNSTEN is the museum of modern art in Aalborg. Danish as well as international art from the 20. century until today can be looked at in this museum. The museum exhibits over 400 paintings all year round with additional, changing exhibitions. During the year, there are more than 200 different events ranging from lectures over concerts to courses for families.

The museum is located in a beautiful white marble building from 1972, which was designed by the popular architect Alvar Aalto. Experience the spectacular architecture and the sculpture park at the museum. The museum was renovated from 2014-2016 and an exhibition room, several schooling rooms as well as a new shop and café were added. The café invites guests to enjoy coffee, cake and other culinary delicacies.
