Relax at the newly renovated, beautiful seaside hostel that is inspired by the classic seaside hotels. Stay overnight in comfortable surroundings and enjoy the stunning decor in the new café or the amazing common areas and party- and banquet facilities.

Between Nr. Nebel and Nymindegab, not far from the coast with a view of the wandering dunes, which previously represented the last bastion against the water, lies Danhostel Nymindegab. In the spring of 2015, the facilities received a nice refurbishment both inside and outside and a warm and welcoming café was built as well. A stylish décor with tall, bright wooden panels, striped wallpaper and magnificent decorations that gives a reminiscence of an exquisite seaside hotel. Danhostel Nymindegab is a cozy base for the happy holiday family, and the place is also suitable for groups, school trips, etc. This seaside hostel is situated in the middle of nature, only a stone's throw from Blåbjerg Plantation and not far from the dunes and the North Sea. Here the sky seems limitless and scenic surroundings everywhere, and furthermore, it lies very close to the main thoroughfare between Germany and Søndervig.

Authentic name and history of the many meetings and celebrations in the center
The entire renovation was made whilst respecting the old Lønne Højskole. Hence, the name Lindvig that comes from the word Lønne, which ultimately means Shrine at the cliff. It matches the name of the hostel because the dunes, which can be seen from the windows, were previously the cliff by the ocean. Back then, several family celebrations were held there, which fits well with the fact that the place today attracts many courses, events and celebrations. Our party- and banquet facilities are just like the rest of the premises of the center, gently refurbished, and appear inviting and cozy.

To organize courses is one of the trademarks of the place, and it actually is also possible to rent the entire hostel if you want to have the place entirely for yourselves.
