Sorte Bakker Beach

Facilities
The beach offers a bathing jetty which comes in handy if you want to go for a swim as the water near the beach is very shallow.  The bathing jetty is an extension of a bridge crossing the sand, making it possible for the walking-impaired to enjoy a day at the beach. 

Surfing
Ringkøbing Surf Club is located at Sorte Bakker Beach as this is the ideal place to do wind- and kitesurfing. Next to the surf club there is a big parking area. The club and the parking area are on a higher level than the beach so there is a staircase going down. There is also a gravel walk for the walking-impaired. At the surf club you'll find toilet facilities. 

The Fjord trail
Close to Sorte Bakker you can find the beautiful Fjord path, which leads from Ringkøbing almost all the way to Velling. The path is used by joggers, cyclists and pedestrians on a daily bais. The path offers a great view over Ringkøbing Fjord.
