Fanø Nature Playground

Fanø Nature Playground is located in Fanø Dune Plantation. When it was built, a great emphasis was put on merging the landscape and the plants in the area with fun activities and games. Therefore, many of the playground’s elements were created using wood from the plantation itself. 

Facilities and activities
There are plenty of activities for the entire family at Fanø Skovlegeplads. Among other things, you’ll find Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy-tale square where you can read fairy-tales in idyllic surroundings. You’ll also find everything from play equipment to obstacle courses.

The playground is located in connection with several wonderful hiking trails and you can easily combine a trip to the playground with a nice walk.

Apart from the many fantastic activities on and around the playground, you’ll also find several practical facilities. Fanø Skovlegeplads has a roofed hut with tables, benches and fire pits. There are also toilet facilities which are free to use.
