Fiskehallen in Thyborøn

Fiskehallen is a large red wooden building located in the middle of Thyborøn harbor overlooking the most beautiful beach on the west coast. The fishing hall is a three in one:

·         Fishmonger

·         Restaurant

·         Harbor pub

The fishmonger

At the fishmonger you will meet the smell of fresh fish. Every morning they trade in the West Jutland markets and therefore you are always guaranteed freshly caught fish. Enter the store and explore a large selection of fresh fish, smoked fish and appetizing delicacies.

The fishmonger also allows you to order a fishing package from home. The only requirement is to just drop by and collect it yourself. If you want to quick-freeze the fish, they will also do that for you.

The restaurant

On the 1st floor you will find Fiskehallen’s restaurant with a view of the marina. In the summer you can enjoy your food in the Danish sun at the quayside. Fiskehallen’s menu offers something for every taste. You can order different fish dishes - directly from the fishing auctions, some meat dishes and different children's menus. All dishes are set at an affordable price, so you will find something for the entire family.

Additionally, you can top off your meal with a homemade ice cream based on Danish organic milk.

The harbor pub

The harbor pub is located next to the harbor basin and is open all days in July and August. Here in the unique and old auction hall you can enjoy an Irish Coffee or one of their many specialty beers. In addition, it is worth a visit on Saturdays where there are fish buffets and live music.
