Harbour Tour in Hvide Sande with Seaside Safari
Join us onboard our safari boat and get a guided
tour of Hvide Sande Harbour.
Hvide Sande’s history began in 1931 when the
first lock was built – separating the North Sea from Ringkøbing Fjord.
The lock has several purposes – among them to
let ships in and out of the harbour but it also regulates the water level and
salinity of Ringkøbing Fjord.
Today, Hvide Sande Harbour remains a busy fishing
port. Get the exciting stories about the lock, the fishery and the businesses
on the harbour.
