Port of Hvide Sande

The harbor at Hvide Sande is a must-see if you are in the area. It is one of the most modern ports on the west coast and the fifth largest in Denmark. In addition, the port plays an important role in the exchange of goods as well as offshore wind activities. Fishing on the harbor is, of course, an important part since many of the ships and boats are sailing out to fish. The port has a fishing fleet consisting of 60 watercraft. The entrance to the harbor is on the North Sea side and has a depth of approximately 5 meters. Hvide Sande Harbor is always exuding summer moods and it is delightful to watch the ships painted in the red glow of the evening sun and listen to the water’s quiet lapping against the quayside.
