Historic and cosy
Parts of Hotel Vinhuset dates back to the 1500s. Furthermore, the building has served as a hotel since 1778. One cannot visit the hotel without knowing the fine story of Hanstenn the wine merchant, who in 1752 asked for the king’s blessing to let his eldest daughter Maren inherit the inn after his death. The king permitted it and in 1754, Maren inherited the inn and named it Vinhuset. The hotel has lots of history and with their tasteful décor, the large rooms will take you back to the 1930s. And do not cheat yourself out of a visit to the hotel's restaurant. Restaurant Vinhuskælderen is placed in the basement and with its crooked vaults and lovely food, it is an experience, you must try out if you are in the area. If you want to return to our century, you can just go out the front door. Hotel Vinhuset is located centrally in Næstved and near both shops and restaurants.
