If you visit Vestkystens Gårdbutik, you'll understand why Jutland is known for its production of local food. Here, you will find the entire selection of West Jutland specialties ranging from cheese and beef to whiskey and apple juice.

Cheese and honey
The cheese department offers several different organic cheeses, the exquisite Vesterhavsost, Ravosten and various unique cheeses. The honey is locally produced and is available in several flavours: heather honey, spring honey and summer honey.

Meat from cows in the dunes
The beef is from Klittens Kødkvæg, which means that you will get meat from cattle that have lived their entire lives in the dunes around the farm shop. The shop also offers organic pork, sausages, steaks, homemade ice-cream, slow-rising bread, home-baked cakes and Danish Flødeboller.

Local beverages
Besides the famous Stauning Whisky, you will find different local beers, schnapps and liqueurs in the store. You can also supply yourself with, among other things, firewood, organic skin products, tea, tapas, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, mustard and marmalade.
